Taylor Swift's new album reveals a new Taylor

Taylor Swift’s new album “Reputation” is unlike any other album she has made. Her old albums were mostly songs about love or breakups but they all hinted that Taylor was sweet and young. Her new album, however, delivers a new sound and it also features a rap artist, Future, on one of her songs “End Game.”

Swift announced on on Instagram on Aug. 23 that her sixth album named Reputation would be released on Nov. 10. The next day on Aug. 24 one of the songs from her album, “Look what you made me do” was released. Taylor wrote this song to show that she was changing her image, and whenever the song came out, it was clear that her image changed a lot.

In one of her songs, Taylor implied the changing of herself when she said “I’m sorry, the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now” “why?” “Oh ‘cause she’s dead!” This implied that she no longer wants to sing the same type of music or be looked at the same way she used to be. Her new music in her album is a good change for her, it has a different beat than all of her older songs and the music goes well with her voice.

When this song was released to the public, it became an instant hit with Swift’s fans and they absolutely couldn’t get enough of it. Her fans were posting about how they couldn’t wait for the album to come out. Even critics couldn’t stop talking about it once the full album came out.

“Taylor Swift’s talent remains intact on ‘Reputation,’ her most focused, most cohesive album yet,” Randy Lewis of the Los Angeles Times said.

This album shows Taylor Swift in a whole new way. Some of her new songs include “Don’t Blame Me,” “Delicate,” “New Year’s Day,” and others. The album starts out pretty and creative and stays soft the whole time. However, other songs like “Ready For It” have a darker and hard-hitting beats at the beginning, but as it turns out most of her songs start out softer sounding.
