With sixty two different senior superlatives there are plenty of people campaigning for votes for superlatives this year. A male and a female can be selected for each of the many categories including best hair, best smile, most accident prone, worst driver, free spirit, most likely to be a pro-athlete, best dressed, class clown, besties for the resties, best all around, BA’s number one fan.

“Senior superlatives are basically what kind of person you are,” senior Jaxon Murray said. “They are fun because all your friends get to nominate you, and we get to see what categories people get voted for.”

Although superlatives are usually things that people obviously display, it can never hurt to campaign. Senior Andrea Kitchens, in her spirited nature, is campaigning for BA’s number one fan.

“What I think makes me BA’s number one fan is my dedication to the school,” Kitchens said “I always support and cheer for everything the school does whether that be from sports to the fine arts to academics.”

Many who are campaigning for their own superlative are also campaigning for others who they think deserve one of their own. Murray is asking for votes for himself in the life of the party category but is also campaigning just as much for senior Makina Wratten to be voted most likely to be a pro athlete.

“I think Makina Wratten deserves to be most likely to become a pro athlete because she has worked really hard,” Murray said. “She is also just a natural at what she does.”

Senior superlatives are a way to leave one last mark on Broken Arrow during your senior year.

“Senior superlatives are something fun that people will remember years from now,” senior Courtlyn Dawson said.

Make sure that you cast your vote for all sixty two of the senior superlatives or get to campaigning if you think you are the best fit for one of the categories. Voting is only open until  Monday Oct. 9. Results will be announced on the yearbook’s social media next week. Winners will be photographed in the senior section of the yearbook as well.
