Broken Arrow’s Kaitlynn Monckton felt like last weekend’s trip to Colorado could be a turning point for the Lady Tiger softball team.

Following a tough loss to Legacy (Colo.) on the first day of the Erie Tournament of Champions, Monckton said the squad held a heart-to-heart talk. The next day BAHS bashed its way to three straight wins and claimed the tournament championship.
